The Study Centre is an exciting and dynamic partnership between the Cobblers, the County Council’s Northampton Town Learning Partnership (NTLP), the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) and the Football Foundation. The Centre is working in close partnership with local schools and educational providers to raise educational standards across Northamptonshire. 

The playing for Success sessions run throughout the week for Key Stage 2 pupils (7-11 year olds) and for Key Stage 3 pupils (11-14 year olds). The Study centre is also open throughout the daytime and during the school holidays to provide a range of educational projects for different learners.

The Centre has a suite of rooms that benefit from a wide range of state of art Information and Communication Technology. The Centre has a wireless connection enabling learners to use mobile computer equipment to instantly capture quantative and qualitative information within a real setting. Work at the Centre is intended to complement school but is distinctive in it’s own right.
