We went to the stadium and went to the top of the stands and put the tape measure to measure the height of the stands, it was 4 metres. We put out the parachutes out at arms length then let them go. Our partners timed our parachutes when they went to the bottom. when we got back to the study centre we got out the calculator and worked out the speed by working out the distance divided by the time. My parachute took 3.81 secs to to get to the ground. This means that my parachute travelled at 1.05 m/s. Written by Josh.
