Chiltern and Lyncrest Club Challenge

Last night young learners from Chiltern and Lyncrest became Millionaires for the evening.  With their new found fortune the youngsters were challenged to create or take over their own football club and promote it.  As the Chairman of their new club they had to design home and away kits (made by origami!), choose a new stadium, select a squad and pick a mascot that would boost the motivation of their team.  The final challenge was to produce an acrostic poem about their team.  All of the work was presented using their most creative I.C.T and art skills.  One group decided to combine the current Arsenal and Manchester United squads to create “Gunchester United”, whilst others created football squads out of the characters from Spongebob Square Pants.  Callum became the manager of “Creepy Crawly Mania” and selected players such as centipedes and millipedes for their speed.  Take a look at the work in progress below!
