Spring Term Presentation Evening

Teachers and parents from across the town attended our end of spring term presentation evening last night to celebrate the achievement of students who were taking part in Playing for Success at the Cobblers Study Centre.

NTFC Mascot Clarence the Dragon rewarded students with a certificate and goody bag for their hard work over the term.  Extra prizes were also handed out to winners of the Champions League from each evening group.  The Champions League is an extra prize that is awarded to young learners who consistently work well as a team, are polite and helpful and complete each weeks challenges successfully.  Champions League winners this term were Owen, James B and James S from Duston Eldean,  Mitchell from Hopping Hill, Jordan and Jack from KC and finally Amber from Kic.In2.Study.

A special commendation also goes out to a group of girls from Northampton School for Girls who were awarded certificates for completing a Junior Football Organiser course at the Study Centre last term. The JFO course has been designed to offer training in three main areas: planning & organising a fun football session for young people; refereeing mini-soccer games and organising and administering football festivals.

Congratulations to all young learners from Hopping Hill, Duston Eldean, Kingsthorpe College, NSG and the Kic.In2.Study group for their achievements throughout the term.
